The Department of Psychology at St. Teresa’s College, Ernakulam, orchestrated a session titled “Step Up – Building Sustainable Careers” for PG 1st-year students and selected students from UG third year. The session, led by Mr. Nishad Kareem, Business Coach and Corporate Trainer, proved to be enlightening and beneficial for the participants.

Mr. Nishad Kareem, discussed crucial concepts such as upgradation, upskilling, unlearning, and relearning. He elucidated the importance of a mindset shift and guided students on how to proactively engage in this process. Emphasizing the significance of identifying and honing lacking skills, Mr. Nishad assisted students in creating Individual Development Plans (IDPs) tailored to their unique strengths and areas for improvement.

The session fostered a highly engaging environment, with students actively participating in discussions and interactive activities. Mr. Nishad’s insights provided valuable guidance for students aiming to build sustainable and successful careers.
