On 10th June 2025, the Department of Mathematics and Statistics conducted an orientation session titled Statistics for a Bright Future: Career Opportunities and Project Insights. The session was led by Ms. Vismaya Vincent, Research Scholar at Kuriakose Elias College, Mannanam, and attended by 99 undergraduate students. It focused on career options, project development, and the interdisciplinary relevance of statistics. The session helped students gain clarity on research opportunities and encouraged them to pursue higher studies in the field.
