On 30th June 2025, a special talk titled “Statistics Beyond Borders” was held at 12 PM in Rooms 74 and 75 as part of Statistical Day celebrations. The session was led by Miss Elizabeth Joy, Research Scholar at IIT Tirupati, and attended by 113 UG and PG students. The talk offered valuable insights into master’s programmes, career opportunities, competitive exams, and the real-life applications of statistical tools and methods. It provided students with a broader understanding of the scope of statistics and inspired many to consider research and career paths in the field.
