Department of Community College, under Ms. Dinu Simon and Ms. Vincy Vincent(Assistant Professors) organized a State level webinar on “”Parenting in Pandemics: Tips to take care of children during COVID-19” on 08/07/2020 at 1pm , via Zoom Platform. Smt. Priya Varghese (MPhil, MSP) , Clinical Psychologist was the Resource person. The Department organized the seminar on parenting while considering the effort and stress put by the parents to take care of their children during this lock down period, where the children below 10 years were forced to remain inside the home and having online classes. Meeting started with a Prayer, followed by Welcome by Ms. Dinu Simon, HOD Community College ;  and Presidential Address by St.Teresa’s College Principal, Dr.Lizzy Mathew.

Smt. Priya Varghese, who is a experienced Child Psychologist, explained well how to occupy the children with activities, that will help them to became a good citizens. She also explained the techniques and tips that will help the parents to care their children during this Pandemic. It was a wonderful session, with 95 participants, from all over Kerala.
