We had a session about Generative AI. Dr. Haritha Rajeev, who is currently working as an
assistant professor in Bharat matha college led the session. She talked about the working and uses
of widely used chat boats and AI models. Every data that we give to these chatboats will take it as
an input and produce a particular result.After this process it stores that data in a portion for future
purposes. Whenever we ask AI models to produce results for our certain purpose such as designs,
templates etc. it produces a new design from the existing (stored) input. Generative AI is the
fundamental technology behind it. It ‘generates’ results based on our question by making use of
already stored data. Ma’am also talked about certain terms that have arised recently based on AI
models and related activity such as AI girlfriend/boyfriend, chatGPT addiction etc. The session
was interactive and informative.
