The Placement and Career Guidance Cell of the Department of Psychology, conducted a seminar on Skill Development and Career Guidance on June 9^th, 2022 Thursday at 1.30 PM in association with Avodha, Ernakulam.

Avodha is India’s largest skill development program providing a wide variety of certificate and diploma courses for students from different educational levels. The resource person for the seminar was Ms. Harsha Mathew, General Manager of Avodha, Infopark Kochi. She talked about the importance of having different skills other than possessing a mere educational degree. Ms. Harsha also discussed different skill sets required in the workplace as well as highlighted various courses that students could choose in order to acquire and develop their careers.

The program was held for the final year UG students of the Psychology Department. 55 students of the batch attended the program which was well received.
