Another session was held by Mr. Azad Babu, who is a cyber security professional working in the
Income tax department. The topic was ‘Digital Safeguarding’. He made us aware of cyber threats
and introduced the topic ‘social engineering’. He demonstrated several techniques to secure our
mobile phones and networks. He explained the significance of security in social media platforms.
Even though they provide enough encryption, it is necessary to secure our personal data with
passwords. He talked about digital footprints. The session was very informative.
