A workshop on Bioinformatics for the III UG (VI Semester) Botany students was organised on 26-3-2018. This course aimed at introducing bioinformatics tools and inculcates necessary knowledge for using online bioinformatics tools for their research projects during their academics. The workshop mainly focused on basic tools which are available to all users free of cost so that its learning will be more fruitful. This course also enabled the students to apply the acquired skills in analyzing and answering various research problems identified during their graduation studies. Thirty nine students of III B.Sc. Botany programme participated. The Resource Person was Dr. Vinod Kumar, Research Assistant, NIO, Ernakulam.
