As part of our “Séance ciné”, and in order to familiarize the students of the Département de français with French culture, we organised our second movie session on 06.08.24.

The movie screened, “Astérix & Obélix : Mission Cléopâtre”, was released in 2002 and is still considered one of the best and funniest French movies of 21st Century. The story is based on the famous French comic books “Les aventures d’Astérix” by Goscinny and Uderzo, a character greatly appreciated by adults and children in the French culture.

Directed by Alain Chabat, the film is full of French sens de l’humour and cultural references that our students were eager and happy to discover.

The screening was a big success and we hope to see you soon around an other French/Francophone movie!
