The Department of Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics organised a session on “Right to Right-Food: A Nutritional Science Journey with Green Jackfruit Flour from Diabetes to Fatty Liver and Liver Tumour” by a innovative  solution-Green jackfruit flour under the expert guidance of  resource person  Mr. James Joseph. The programme aimed to raise awareness about the potential of green jackfruit flour as a functional food for managing and preventing various metabolic disorders, including diabetes, fatty liver disease, and liver tumours. The Resource person successfully highlighted the importance of making informed dietary choices for the prevention and management of chronic diseases like diabetes, fatty liver, and liver tumours. Green jackfruit flour emerged as a promising functional food with a range of health benefits, especially in managing metabolic disorders. The session provided valuable insights into how nutrition science can contribute to better health outcomes, promoting the idea of “Right to Right-Food.”
