On 08-12-2016, an Exhibition cum Seminar was conducted in connection with the International Year of Pulses. The seminar topic was “Pulses- Nutritional seeds for a sustainable future”. The resource person was Dr.P.S. John, Professor (Agronomy), Retd., Kerala Agriculture University, Mannuthy.

In the afternoon session, a talk on terrace gardening  was conducted for the home makers. Dr. A.R.S. Vadhyar, Managing Trustee, Yasoram Charitable Society, a renowned entrepreneur and architect, was the resource person.  It was attended by the mothers of  III DC and  Sc. Botany students.

In the exhibition, the students exhibited a vast array of products and curios made using various types of pulses . The salad dressing  competition Kosambari and Jewellery making competition using pulses  were conducted in the afternoon in which the students participated very enthusiastically.
