An inter-collegiate essay writing competition on “Psychology of Ahimsa” was conducted by Department of Psychology, St. Teresas college, Ernakulam in connection with the 150th birth anniversary celebrations of M. K Gandhi.
From the essays received, following students secured first three positions.
First prize- Megha Pai
Second prize- Sara Thesneem
Third prize- Nair Chithra Hari Narayanan
The winners were awarded with cash prizes and certificates. The prizes were distributed by Mr. Yadunath R Varma, a philosopher and a Gandhian by life.
