A Project Orientation Session was conducted on 19th July 2025 for the Second Year M.Com students. The session was led by Dr. Honey Cletus, Assistant Professor at Aquinas College, Edakochi, an expert in research methodology and academic project guidance. Dr. Honey Cletus began the session by emphasizing the importance of academic projects in shaping research aptitude and critical thinking among post-graduate students.

Key points covered in the session included:
 Purpose and Relevance of the M.Com project
 Selection of a Research Topic: relevance, feasibility, and scope
 Framing Objectives and Hypotheses
 Literature Review Techniques
 Research Methodology: data collection methods, sampling techniques, and tools for
analysis
 Plagiarism and Ethical Research Practices
 Structure and Formatting of the final project report
 Time Management and adherence to academic deadlines
Dr. Honey Cletus shared practical tips and real-life examples to make the session engaging and informative. The students were made to write a review of the literature during the session. She also clarified doubts raised by students and encouraged them to approach the project with curiosity and commitment.
