The program started off by extending a warm welcome to all of the
visitors in the room. Both the present students and a large number of the department’s
retired
employees attended the talk.
The lecture was started as a mark of respect for Prof. E.I. Anila, a retired member of the
physics faculty at UC College, Aluva. In honour of her dedication and years of devotion to
the department, the talk was planned. In addition to integrating a lab on her own, she
boosted the college by publishing numerous important publications. The professor
personally attended the lecture and expressed her appreciation.
