Placement and Career Guidance Talk
“AN EXCLUSIVE DIET TO YOUR DREAM”
The Department of Computer Applications in St. Teresa’s College organized a talk on Placement and Career Guidance – “An Exclusive Diet to your Dreams” for the students of BSc Computer Applications Triple Main on 7th March 2022 at 8:30 am.
The program with a total strength of 74 BSc CA students was coordinated by Ms Raji S Pillai, HOD of the Department of Computer Applications, Ms Remya C.J, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Applications and Ms Sangeetha Chandran, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Applications. The session started with a Welcome address by Ms Remya C.J and was led by our speaker for the day Ms. Sangeetha Chandran.
In the Placement and Career orientation talk, the speaker delivered the significance of the Trio – Computer, Mathematics and Statistics; and the opportunities for each field. She also discussed extra tips and hands-on practical examples throughout the session. The job roles of esteemed companies, various research fields and the best Universities in and out of the Country were mentioned in the session. Discussions regarding the skills that students must develop for securing placements was the most valuable part of the session.The speaker also shared the experiences as the Placement Coordinator of the Department Of Computer Applications.
The workshop was concluded with a vote of thanks by Anjali Suresh and Baladevika Gopi of Second Year BSc CA and the fruitful session came to its end by 10 am.
