In Association with the Ayyappa Panicker Foundation, a poetry workshop was held on 15^th September 2017. Sri Sebastian from the Ayyappa Panicker foundation engaged  a session, followed by a poetry reading session by the students from neighbouring colleges and schools who  took part in the workshop. A few students were selected to the State level Poetry Workshop: DAKSHINA-SOUTH INDIAN POETRY FESTIVAL held at Thiruvananthapuram on 19–21^st September 2017.
