The Department of Communicative English, on December 19, 2018, organised a talk on “Photography: Passion to Profession” by renowned photographer Jinu Joseph. Mr. Joseph spoke to the students about techniques for improving their photography skills.

The talk was held in association with a photography exhibition conducted to commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. The exhibited photographs were clicked by students of the college as part of a competition on the theme “Interpreting the Mahatma.” Students shot creative frames interpreted the contemporary relevance of the Mahatma’s philosophies of peace and non-violence.
