As part of the Institution’s Innovation Council of the Psychology Department’s  *The Odyssey Series* – A Social Entrepreneurship venture aiming for Social Transformation- held a Panel Discussion on the topic “The Lingo of Domestic Violence and Intimate Partner Violence” on 26th Nov 2020 from 3.00 p.m. to 5.00 p.m on Google Meet.

Circle Inspector & SHO Rajkumar P, Adv. Jaseentha, Dr. Shabana Shamsudin, Consultant Psychologist, and Ms. Sandhya V.K, Psycho- social Counselor were the experts who lead the Panel Discussion moderated by Asst. Prof Bindu John, HOD of Psychology Department.

The Panel Discussion was organized along with Sakhi One-Stop Center, a Government of India initiative to help distressed women and children under the Nirbhaya scheme.

The Panel Discussion was attended by more than 200 participants. The objective of the program was to discuss the problems of domestic violence and intimate partner violence and to identify feasible solutions that can be taken up by the Innovation Council of the department.
