On 11th October, the Department of English and Centre for Research conducted the 13th edition of the annual literary festival and intercollegiate competition, Panache. The theme for this year was ‘Kochella: the colours of Kochi.’ The event was formally inaugurated by renowned music director Ranjin Raj at 10:30 AM at the Platinum Jubilee Auditorium.

Around 250 participants from various institutions registered to participate in the competitions which included, poetry writing, pencil sketching, flash fiction, photography, group dance, JAM, group song, solo with instruments and debate. There were guest performances by bands such as the Octaves and Karwaan. The overall trophy was secured by SCMS, Kalamassery. St. Paul’s College, Kalamassery was awarded the second prize. The fest came to an end with the performance of the band Karwaan at 5.45 PM.
