On 11th of January 2020, 16 students from the Department of Zoology St . Teresa’s College and the members of Harithasena and Mahatma Mathrubhumbi study circle set off on their three day nature camp to  Athirapally Vazhachal. The students were accompanied by Mr. Renjith Kumar, Director of the  study circle and Mr. Venu Variath. The camp consisted of various activities including visit to Mathurbhumi Arboratum, Aluva were the students attended a class by Prof. Seetharaman followed by a visit to Thumboormozhi Butterfly Park. The first day of camp activities included morning bird watching, nature walk and seminar by the forest department. On the second day, nature walk, trekking and an interactive session by Range officer Ms Prabha and Mr. Rajeesh was arranged. On the third day students went to vist Vazhachal waterfalls and later on visited a tribal colony. The camp concluded with the distribution of certificates to the students.
