As part of World Osteoporosis Day, the Department of Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics in in collaboration with Indian Dietetic Association (Kerala Chapter), Nutrition Society of India and NetProFan, Kochi Chapters conducted a national webinar on ‘Take Action for Bone Health’ on 25th October, 2021 through google meet. The resource person was Dr. Roncy Savio Kuruvilla, Assistant Professor, Department of Orthopedics (Unit-3), Christian Medical College, Vellore. The speaker covered topics like classification of osteoporosis, bone remodeling, prevention and treatment of osteoporosis. Around 112 participants attended the webinar.
