Talk on: A Flexible Approach to Nutrition and Fitness

National Nutrition Week celebration 2019 celebrated from 1st September to 7th September to make people aware of the importance of nutrition for the human body and well being of health.

 As a part of National Nutritional Week celebration 2019, the Department of Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics had organized a talk on the topic “A Flexible approach to Nutrition and fitness” by Mr. RAJIV AMBAT MENON, CEO, and Chief health officer at Nuvo Vivo center for Obesity Lifestyle disorders and Research, Ernakulam. The speaker focused on 3 main topics i.e., Eat right, Move more, Treat yourself with some rest. It mainly emphasized on the significance of physical activity and health. It was an interactive session. Fitness and Nutrition are two areas that go hand in hand and we understood this better after the session.
