The Department of Fashion Designing at St. Teresa’s College, Ernakulam, proudly celebrated National Handloom Day with a vibrant tribute to India’s rich textile heritage. As part of the event, students showcased the elegance and versatility of handloom by draping themselves in khadi and traditional handloom sarees and fabrics. A highlight of the celebration was a graceful ramp walk, where students walked with pride, promoting the cultural and sustainable value of handloom. The event aimed to raise awareness and encourage the younger generation to embrace and support indigenous weaves and artisans.
