Alphabet Of Change, the association of Department of English and Centre for Research, organized MELANTHA, an exhibition on gothic works, on account of Frankenstein’s Day on 29 August 2019. The exhibition was inaugurated by Dr. Beena Job , head of the department of English, at 11.30 am , following which, the students of 3rd DC literature put up a play on the origin of the novel Frankenstein. A cosplay was also put up, bringing on stage various gothic characters from different novels and movies. An inter department review writing and doodling competition was also held as part of the event. Ms.Fathima of 2nd DC English won the first prize for review writing and Ms.Shivangi of 3rd DC economics won the first prize for doodling.
