The French department was happy to welcome Mr. Dinesh Rai, General Manager of the Crowne Palace, Kochi, along with two of his colleagues, Mr. John, Hotel Manager, and Mrs. Rekha, Training Manager, for a special session, “From the Classroom to the Boardroom: Bridging the Gap with Internships”, on the occasion of the Campus Connect programme.

With over 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Mr. Dinesh Rai has established himself as a prominent leader in operations and business development. His illustrious career spans leadership roles with globally renowned brands, including Marriott, AccorHotels, IHG, and Taj Hotels, across India and Sri Lanka.

Our three experts shared their experience in hospitality and tourism sector, and pointed out the importance of internships in a student career.

Our students, UG I, II and III, really enjoyed the exchange and many questions were asked, dully and happily answered by our guests.
