The Mathematics Department corridor underwent a remarkable transformation, courtesy of the 22-23 association, with the meticulous guidance of faculty members Mrs. Dhanalakshmi OM and Ms. Vismaya Vincent. The initiative, aptly named “Mathestics,” seamlessly blended the realms of mathematics and art. The revitalized corridor was unveiled during a ceremony graced by Dr. Alphonsa Vijaya Joseph, Principal of St. Teresa’s College.

Mathestics provided a unique platform for mathematics students to showcase not only their numerical prowess but also their artistic talents. This endeavor emphasized that mathematics transcends mere numbers and equations; it is an intricate fusion of creativity and logic.

The newly adorned walls, adorned with vibrant graffiti, symbolized the convergence of mathematical precision and artistic expression. Dr. Alphonsa Vijaya Joseph, as the Principal, inaugurated the revamped corridor, commending the collaborative efforts of students and faculty.

The decor team, comprised of carefully selected members, worked tirelessly to bring this vision to life. In recognition of their dedication, all team members and teachers involved were presented with tokens of appreciation from the Mathematics Department, a gesture acknowledging their valuable contributions to the project. This initiative not only revitalized the physical space but also enriched the perception of mathematics, showcasing its multifaceted nature.
