On 10th June 2025, the Department of Mathematics conducted an orientation session titled “Math Meets Machine: An Orientation into AI and ML.” Led by Ms. Sreelakshmi K Anil (Asst. Professor), the session introduced 70 B.Sc. Mathematics students to the basics of AI and ML, emphasizing the role of mathematics in model building, data analysis, and learning techniques. Students were encouraged to explore careers in AI and data science.
