The department of mathematics and statistics of St. Teresa’s college, Ernakulam in association with Kerala Mathematical association & Mathlab Cochin organized Rev. Sr. Christabelle Memorial Annual Math Championship for School students ‘Limit Breakers Season 2’ on 17th December 2022.It was conducted through Google meet from 4 pm – 6 pm.58 students participated in the programme, including the students of class 10,11,12 and 1st & 2nd year students of B.Sc. Mathematics.

The programme began with a prayer song by Albiya Mathews and was followed by a welcome speech by Julia Beryl Sharon. After that, Dr. Anoop N Nair, Asst. Professor of Department of Mathematics of CEM Punnapra took an orientation session on ‘Mathematics Education in the Artificial Intelligence Driven world’. A vote of thanks was delivered by Chris Catherin Cyriac. Following this, a power point presentation highlighting the activities and achievements of the department of mathematics and statistics was displayed by Ameesha Paul. Thereafter, a quiz competition was conducted for school students of classes 10,11 and 12 through a Google form. The first prize of Rs.3000 was bagged by Renz Roy of Sacred Heart CMI Public School, Thevara and the second prize of Rs.2000 was won by Hadiya MK of Jama Ath Higher Secondary School, Vaduthala.
