On August 23rd, 2024, at 1:30 pm, the Department of Chemistry organized a special program titled “Life as a Scientist” in celebration of International Youth Day. The event took place in the AV Room of the Library and was aimed at inspiring and enriching students by showcasing the exciting world of scientific research.

The program featured an engaging and interactive session led by Dr Anoop Anand, an esteemed scientist from the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), Pune. Dr Anand offered valuable insights from his journey as a scientist, discussing the latest advancements in his field and sharing practical advice on pursuing a research career. His session included an overview of current research at DRDO and guidance on educational and career opportunities in such prestigious institutions.
