The Department of Zoology organized a talk for the 3rd DC Zoology students on the topic ‘Journey to Digital Banking’ hosted by Dhanalaxmi Bank, Shanmugam Road Branch, Marine Drive, Ernakulam on 21st December 2016. The seminar commenced with a welcome address by Greetta James of III DC Zoology. The talk was headed by Mr Ramachadran E, Branch Manager, Dhanalaxmi Bank. Mr Prakash C and Mr Ananthu, Representatives of Dhanalaxmi Bank were also present. The seminar specified on the evolution of India Banking to a digital era. They highlighted the current monetary scenario, various types of plastic currency and how to effectively go cashless. The session concluded with a vote of thanks by Rhea Mohan Thoppil of III DC Zoology.
