The morning session commenced with a warm welcome from the Head of Department, Anupa Jacob, as she addressed our esteemed guests, faculty, and students. Dr Sheri Markose then took the stage for the keynote address, shedding light on the ever-evolving landscape of financial technology (Fintech) and its profound impact on the digital economy.
The afternoon session began with a welcome address by Arathy Krishna (Joint Secretary 2, economics association) the session included paper presentations by the students of the economics department, 9 teams participated and it was judged by Dr Martin Patrick. His expertise added an extra layer of credibility to the evaluation process, making it an invaluable experience for all the participants.
