The 3rd of July 2023 was International Plastic Bag Free Day, the occasion for the students of the French Department to discuss the importance of eradicating plastic from our daily life.

The 2nd year BA students proposed an alternative to plastic bag by creating their own sustainable bags made out of old clothes. They showed great skills in imagining then sewing their bags.

This day reminds us all that it is possible to recycle and reuse materials and that we all have a part to play in saving our planet Earth.
