On 11th of August 2022 (initial date was postponed because of heavy rain on the previous week), the Department of French celebrated the International Friendship Day.

Friendship day is dedicated to the friends with whom we share the precious moments of life and this day is being celebrated on the first Sunday in the month of August, on 7th August, this year 2022. Friendship day is celebrated across the world by millions of people those who share special bond with their friends.

Students of UG and PG and Teachers of the Department brought a symbolic gift, wrapped in a nice gift paper, with a personal note or a quote in French or in English about the importance of friendship.

We then organised a lucky draw to distribute the gifts. Everyone felt loved!!!
