On the occasion of the International Day of Older Persons, our college organized a pledge activity to honour and recognize the invaluable contributions of elders in our society on October 1st 2024. The Department of Cyber security and applied Computing, conducted a session on the same.   Students, faculty, and staff gathered to take a solemn pledge, committing to respect, support, and care for the elderly in their communities. The event emphasized the importance of empathy, patience, and active engagement with older generations to bridge generational gaps and foster mutual understanding. Through this pledge, participants vowed to uphold the dignity and rights of older individuals, recognizing them as a source of wisdom and guidance.

The Elders’ Day pledge activity, conducted in honour of the International Day of Older Persons, fostered a strong sense of respect, gratitude, and responsibility among students for the elder members of their families and communities. Through taking this pledge, students committed to valuing the wisdom, guidance, and experiences of older generations, realizing the vital role elders play in shaping society.
