The Department of Physics under the Initiatives for CONservation of Nature and Energy Conducted by Teresians (I CONNECT) installed a solar lantern and LED bulbs assembled by the members at the Director’s Office on 30th January 2018. It is our first step towards our campaign for promoting renewable and efficient energy sources. The event was powered by the slogans of students of the department while conducting an awareness rally from science block to arts block. The event was graced with the presence of Dr. Sr. Vinitha, Director and Dr. Sajimol Augustine M , principal. A pledge was taken by the students and faculty to conserve energy. It was followed by a rapid fire on energy and nature conservation. Hope the slogan “Save Polar, Go Solar” will be promoted for the days to come.
