The Department of Economics and Centre for Research celebrated the 75th Republic Day by organizing an engaging online essay writing competition named “Ink of Independence.” The competition called for students to articulate their reflections on Republic Day, providing a platform for them to express their thoughts and insights on the significance of this historic occasion. The event aimed to foster intellectual engagement and critical thinking among the participants, encouraging them to delve into the values and principles that define the spirit of the Indian Republic.

The response to the competition was commendable, with six entries received by the deadline of January 30th. The diverse range of perspectives showcased the depth of understanding and enthusiasm among the participants. After careful evaluation, the following students were declared as the winners of the competition:
