November 2025: As part of the curriculum, an Industrial Visit was organised to Synthite Industries, Kolenchery on 25th November 2025. A total of 25 students from 2nd Year UG (BMS) and 9 students from 1st Year PGDM in Business Analytics, of the Department of Management Studies, accompanied by 2 faculty members, visited the BI unit of Synthite.
The team departed at 9:30 AM from the college and arrived at 10:30 AM at Synthite Spice Park.Upon arrival, employees of Synthite welcomed the group and provided a brief introduction about the industry. The team visited two major processing plants, where the employees explained:
- How spices and oils are processed and refined
- Machinery used in different production stages
The industrial visit was highly informative and insightful, enabling students to understand the management and operations of a large-scale organization. It helped bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world industrial practices, enhancing their practical knowledge and professional exposure.
