As a part of their academic curriculum, 40 undergraduate and postgraduate students from the French Department of St. Teresa’s College, Ernakulam, embarked on an immersive educational tour of Crowne Plaza, Maradu – Kochi, a 5-star IHG property renowned for its hospitality standards, on the 16.07.2025. This visit to Crowne Plaza, Kochi, marked a perfect blend of academic learning, professional exposure, and cultural experience for the students of St. Teresa’s College. The hospitality extended by the hotel staff was greatly appreciated and made the day truly memorable.
The students were given a comprehensive guided hotel tour showcasing:
- Room categories from Deluxe to Executive Suites
- Banqueting and event spaces
- In-house restaurants and spa areas
- Operations of front office, housekeeping, and food & beverage departments
This first hand experience offered students valuable insights into the workings of a luxury hotel and the dynamic world of hospitality management.
