On the 9th of January, the Coastal Odyssey flagged off Kolkata. It will culminate on 31st in Kandla, Gujarat, and will cover a distance of 6200km.

The Coastal Odyssey is the first EV sustainable coastal expedition and it is connecting all coastal communities, India’s temple heritage, maritime historical naval forts and the global rise of Indian shipping through ports.

The team consists of people from various sectors: Col. PS Chohan, Col. Amanpreet Gill, Col. Gopal Arora, Manissha, Samiran Shee, Jahanvi Bakshi, Sandip Pal, Rohit Bodh, Jitendar Thakur, Anurup Parmar.

On the 19th of January, the Coastal Odyssey team stopped at Fort Kochi, having done half of its big journey. At the Indiatourism Kochi center, they met the students of UG3 and PG1 from the French Department to share their experience and encourage the young generation to travel and discover the world.

The team was very friendly and enthusiastic. They inspired our dear students who were happy to meet real-life travellers.
