The 7th batch of the BMS programme of the Department of Management Studies was inaugurated on 22nd September 2021 by Ms. Nirmala Lilly, CEO – Infinity Hospitality Services. She emphasized the need to be a persistent learner all throughout life. She shared her life experiences and took the audience on a mental journey through the struggles she had gone through in becoming the entrepreneur she is today. In her inaugural address, she touched on varied aspects of great importance to management students – emotional intelligence, resilience, networking skills, etiquette, ethics, and accountability. She concluded by suggesting three Ds which should guide the professionals of tomorrow – Desire, Dedication, and Discipline. The session ended with a vote of thanks.
