The Department of Mathematics and Statistics held the retirement function ‘Hugging Hearts’ for  our retiring teachers Smt. Betty Joseph, Vice Principal, Associate Professor, Head Department of Statistics and Smt. Shanty B.P., Deputy Controller of Examinations, Assistant Professor & Former Head Department of Statistics. The department also conducted Valedictory function on the same day.   The programme began with a prayer. The meeting was hosted by Ms. Nikitha Savio V R of  2-DC. The welcome speech was delivered by Dr. Ursala Paul, HOD of mathematics department.   A video depicting their personal and  professional life was presented before the retiring teachers. The report of the association of the year 2022-23 was delivered by Ms. Ameesha Paul ,Association Secretary and Ms. Prajnaa Praveen ,Association Treasurer. The student achievers were honoured. The magazine ‘La Memoire ’ of the year 2022-23 was released at this occasion. The 80th birthday of Sr. Emeline CSST, Director was celebrated.  Sr Emeline CSST, Director and Prof. Susan John(Retd.)-President of Alumnae Association  felicitated the gathering. The representatives from the teachers as well as the students shared their memories about their beloved teachers . The retiring teachers were given gifts as a token of our love. The vote of thanks was delivered by Dr. Elizabeth Reshma M T. The cultural programmes by the students and teachers followed after.
