The activities of the Home Science Association were planned and charted out by the office bearers in consultation with the staff advisor. The first activity planned was a session on Basic Cake Baking. The invite for the same was designed.

. The two hour session was handled by our own immediate alumnus and a budding entrepreneur, Ms Ruqaiyya Naseer. She is the founder of ‘Sweet Arts’ an exclusive home baking venture. The session was conducted virtually on the Google Meet Platform and had close to 98 participants. The programme was hosted by Ms. Nivedita S Menon, the Secretary of the Home Science Association. The Head of the Department, Dr. Thara Sebastian and other teachers actively   participated in the session. The recipes of the desserts prepared in the live session were presented by Ms. Carmel Feona Francis, the Joint Secretary of the association. The technical operations were managed by Ms. Bhoomi Antony, the Treasurer of the Association. The baking class was followed by a question-answer session during which all queries of the participants were addressed by the resource person patiently and baking tips were also shared.
