On behalf of the Hindi Day Celebration,our department organized competitions in the college level for all students.Various competitions and the list of prize winners are as follows.
1.Reading Competition
It was conducted on 14-09-2018 at 2.30 pm. About 20 students were participated in the competition.Jasmine Grace Mathew from IDC Sociology won the 1stprize.Nainithal Alex from IDC Chemistry and Bhavana Purohit from IDC B.Com got the 2nd and 3rd prize respectively.
2.Handwriting competition
This programme was conducted on17-09-2018 at 2.30 pm .About 34 students from various departments participated in it.Adeline Joseph from IIDC Zoology got the 1stprize.Parvathy Haridas from IDC Botany and Nair Chithra Harinarayanan from IIIDC B.Voc FPT got the 2nd and 3rd prize respectively
3.Vocabulary building competition
This programme was held on 17-09-2018. 27 students from various departments participated in the competition.In this competition 15 pictures were displayed before the participants for 20 seconds.These were the pictures being used in our daily life.Memory test of the students was also taken along with the vocabulary building.Anjali Pal from I DC Botany got the 1stposition.Anjali Yadav from II DC Zoology,Lakshmi Varma from I DC Maths attained the 2nd and 3rd position respectively
4.Translation Competition
This competition was conducted on 27-09-2018 at 2.30 pm .Only a few students were there in the competition.Antonia Savio from I DC Economics won the 1st prize.
