The department of Computer Applications celebrated the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi by conducting an online quiz competition named ‘ Gandhi Smarana’. The quiz was organized on the topic ‘Gandhiji & Freedom Struggle’ and it was conducted on 19th December, 2018. The software for the conduct of the programme was developed by two of our III BSc Computer Applicatoins[ Triple Main] students, Thasleema Nasarin & S B. Meenakshi. Preliminary round consisted of questions about the biography of Gandhiji and 74 students of the department participated. A short list of 20 students was made from among them and the second round consisted of 20 questions related to Freedom Struggle in India. Prizes was bagged by Fathima P Ashraf (III Bvoc Software Development), Varsha Nagesh(III BVoc) and Maria Steena Paduva(III BVoc)
