A cybersecurity awareness session was held on the topic “From vulnerability to strength: A guide to cybersecurity awareness” by Mr Saurav Sha, who is a senior cybersecurity expert. He is also
a researcher and trainer head at Red Team Hacker Academy. The session completely covered the areas
of emerging cybersecurity threats, attacks, etc. The session was interactive, and a live
demonstration of certain cyber-attacks was also held. Mr Saurav talked about how the
vulnerabilities in the networks are misused by hackers and cyber attackers. The need to be well
aware of emerging technology threats and their impacts on society was also discussed. He
introduced Kali Linux and its working. He explained how scam links work in different
circumstances. The situations where people get deceived by cyber attackers were also
discussed. Several hacking devices were also introduced in the session. What all jobs can earn
by learning or specializing cyber security and the upcoming opportunities in the field were also
discussed throughout the session.
