The Department of Mathematics successfully hosted Freshers’ Day 2025 on July 4, 2025, at 11:00 AM, welcoming 62 new B.Sc. Mathematics students (2025-2029 batch). The event, themed “Mismatch with Attitude,” was designed to make the first-year students feel welcomed and encourage them to showcase their talents in a supportive environment. The program included an official ceremony followed by diverse activities like dancing, singing, and various fun games, culminating in an engaging jamming session. Freshers’ Day achieved its main objective, creating a holistic and encouraging atmosphere that allowed students to build confidence, interact freely with faculty, and successfully foster a cooperative spirit within the department.
