Organized with the cooperation of Alliance Française, Trivandrum, the BA3 and BA2 students of the French Department went to the Kochi Biennale on the 02.02.26 for a special French tour.

Guided by Margot Michaud, director of the Alliance Française, the students met the work of 2 Francophones artists who are currently exhibiting at the Kochi Biennale : Hicham Berrada, a Morrocan artist based in Paris, and Shivay la Multiple, who spends her life between France, Africa and India.

This session gave our students an opportunity to encounter the world of arts, but also to discuss about contemporary arts, their place in societies, their challenges, their various visions of the world.

The students were thrilled by the experience. We would like to extend our gratitude to Mrs Margot Michaud for her time and her explanation. She made sure the experience was great for each and every one.
