- Associaton Inauguration: The French department association was inaugurated on 21st June 2019 by Dr. Ambily Nair. She is an internationally trained biomedical scientist specialising in kidney related disorders. Her research outputs have been published in leading international journals in molecular biology and biomedical sciences and have received close to 700 citations. Currently she is a freelancer actively involved in several social, educational and environmental causes, working with several charities and NGOs both local and international. In her inaugural address, she talked to the students about the importance of women being independent and the need to pursue their passion, which was followed by an interactive session with the students where she shared her experience as a solo traveller and model.
