The Department of Cyber Security and Applied Computing at St. Teresa’s College organized a  series of competitions on September 6, 2024, in honor of the death anniversary of our Foundress,  Mother Teresa of St. Rose of Lima. The event aimed to celebrate her legacy by fostering  intellectual and artistic expression among the students. The theme revolved around Mother  Teresa’s remarkable contributions to education and her profound influence on society, with each  competition encouraging participants to explore different facets of her life.

The competitions included Drawing, Essay Writing, Elocution, and a Quiz, providing students  from various classes a platform to showcase their talents and creative thinking. Each activity was  designed to engage students uniquely, allowing them to reflect on the values and teachings of our  Foundress while developing their skills. These competitions were not only an avenue for students  to express their talents but also served as a learning experience, deepening their connection to the  values upheld by our Foundress. After the event, 7 winners were selected based on their  performance and these winners were awarded with gifts.

The event was a resounding success, with enthusiastic participation from students of all classes. It  allowed students to engage creatively and intellectually with the life of Mother Teresa, while also  deepening their appreciation for her contributions to society.
