June 7 each year is celebrated as World Food Safety Day with an objective to draw attention and inspire actions to health prevent, detect and manage food borne risk contributing to food safety, human health, economic prosperity, agriculture and sustainable development. On World Food Safety Day this year, the theme is ” Safer food better health “.

Food safety is a shared responsibility between government, producers and consumers.. Everyone has a role to play from farm to table to ensure the food we consume is safe and healthy. To create this awareness our students has conducted a flash mob on June 7th.
